VENUE: THE SAN FRANCISCO CULTURAL COMPLEX
COMPLEJO CULTURAL SAN FRANCISCO
It is located in the former monastery of San Francisco and its installations include the offices of the Cultural Area of Cáceres County Council, which are mainly used for the organisation of congresses and other cultural activities. The construction of this magnificent building was initiated in the year 1472.
The architectural complex is arranged around four cloisters and an important church as large as a cathedral which is today the auditorium and main hall of the complex.
The four existing cloisters have been prepared to host all kinds of major exhibitions and to contain the stands which the organising of congresses entails.
The Complex uses the latest technologies to make it suitable for the holding of all kinds of events; it has five meeting halls including the Auditorium with a total capacity of 1220 people.
It also has a large car park which can also welcome coaches and space for the erection of catering tents.
